Abstract / Summary

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a global public health problem characterized by high prevalence, low awareness, and high mortality, and it also poses a public health challenge that affects China's socioeconomic development. Internationally, developed countries have established relatively mature CKD screening systems and developed a variety of prediction models. Although some progress has been made in China in CKD screening and prediction model research, further optimization and dissemination are still needed. The application of artificial intelligence in early CKD screening has gradually become a research hotspot. Further optimizing early CKD screening has become an important global public health issue. This article reviews the current research status of early CKD screening at home and abroad and provides a prospect for future early CKD screening.
